At Poise Yoga Studio & Foot Sanctuary, we provide a serene and positive community atmosphere where you can begin or deepen your yoga practice. Our classes are led by trained teachers who are passionate about guiding sequences that offer individual growth. We believe that stillness in motion creates a meditative effect, resulting in a more balanced body and mind.
Shanna Breton RYT 500, Reflexologist, Owner
Shanna obtained her 500 hour yoga certification as well as her Thai bodywork certification through Shiva Shakti School of Yoga and Healing Arts. She also studied Thai bodywork in Ko Phangan, Thailand where she certified in Aerial Yoga. She completed her foot and hand reflexology certification through the International Institute of Reflexology.
Shanna practices thoughtful and gentle yoga asanas (poses) with emphasis on pranayama (breath control) within her teaching. She teaches from the heart and believes the practice of yoga, pranayama and meditation can promote physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. She believes that yoga is suitable for all beings and is passionate to share as she continues her own yoga journey. She created a calming sanctuary to offer yoga, foot reflexology, and Thai Bodywork in her community.
Off the mat, Shanna enjoys traveling, spending time with loved ones, stillness at the ocean and her other passion, interior design.

Josslyn Jalbert RYT 200, Reiki II Practitioner, Nursing Student
Josslyn teaches inspirational alignment based Hatha yoga. She is passionate about sharing how the practice of yoga and meditation can help one achieve higher levels of inner connectedness, and how the movement of the body, with the breath can assist yoga students on turning inward to begin the journey of self-reflection. Josslyn believes that through the practice of yoga one can strengthen their mind and body, yielding greater self-compassion, acceptance, and patience. She values the opportunity to be of service, and graciously meets her students where they when they arrive on their mat. You can expect to be nurtured, empowered, safe, and guided into your own creative space in her classes.
Josslyn has a 200-hour yoga teacher training certification and is registered with the Yoga Alliance. She studied at the Maine School of Yoga, as well as with numerous other yoga teachers over the past six years, adding to her skills and passion for the teachings and the practice.
